Pool Plastering Denver and Boulder Colorado

Pool Plastering is affordable and no other pool repair will make your pool look more beautiful. Most pool owners have forgotten just how beautiful their pool can be on a sunny day in Denver, and pool plastering takes only a few days and you’ll be right back in the pool, and this time of year is the perfect time to do it, because of the mild temperatures in Denver.

The first step is to drain the pool and we’ll do this overnight when no one is around and we’ll begin working on your pool the following morning.

The preparation of the pool is the next step because there can be no oil dirt, or any other stains on the sides and bottom of the pool, and we usually acid wash and pressure clean the pool as the last step in cleaning and preping the pool to be plastered.

If your pool has been painted we will have to sand blast all the surfaces of the pool to ensure your new pool plastering will give you years of service with no problems.

After the surfaces of your pool our perfectly clean we’ll spend quite a bit of time going over all the surfaces of your pool looking for hollow areas, and we’ll break them out and prep the area to receive the new plaster surface.

We then remove all existing pool tiles; if replacing the pool tile is part of the pool remodeling we’re doing for you; if not we use concrete saws to cut around all the tile where they meet the pool plaster and prep the edges so the plaster will bond to your existing tile.

Installing new pool tile is the next step if you’re getting new tile, as well as any other pool accessories like skimmers and main drains. If you’re not we’ll do the same prep around your existing fixtures as we did around the pool tile.

Applying a bond coat is probably the most important step in the pool plastering process, because it’s imperative that the new pool plaster bonds to the existing plaster that’s left after we clean all the pool surfaces.

We will then apply approximately 3/8” to 1’2” of plaster to all the surfaces of your pool, and we spend quite a bit of time making sure all the surfaces of your pool receive a hard trowel finish.

The last and one of the most important steps is refilling your pool with clean water, and balancing the chemicals in your pool; this is extremely important at this phase, because the new pool plaster must be cured correctly.

The first month is very important for a pool that has been plastered, because the pool plaster is curing and the water must be watched on a daily basis to prevent any scaling or break down of the new plaster.

Brushing all the pool surfaces that have been plastered is important to get rid of plaster dust which collects in the bottom of the pool, and is easily vacuumed away.

You can begin swimming in your pool as soon as it fills with water and the chemicals have been balanced.

If the water in your pool is balanced correctly you’ll get10 to 15 years of worry free service from your new pool plastering, we’ll provide the first month of pool cleaning and maintenance free when we plaster your pool. This will spoil you and the first month is critical to make sure your pool plaster is strong and gives you years of service.

  1. It’s good to know that you have a good pool plastering. This could help a particular old pool into beautiful and stunning one. This is a good service for those who have pool in their homes. But high pressure cleaning in tiles can be also possible right? This is the best cleaning process also for tiles as far as I know.

  2. My uncle is probably going to have to find someone that can come and redo the plaster in his pool. It's a pretty old pool, so it's in pretty bad shape right now. It should be nice to have it ready to be used again before the summer heat really sets in. Hopefully he'll be able to get it done by then.

  3. The accessible pool alternatives must be thought about next to each other while choosing for setting up another pool at home. Fiberglass, cement, and vinyl liner are the most widely recognized sorts of pool alternatives accessible nowadays. pool resurfacing tampa
